In 2011, Congress passed the National Alzheimer’s Project Act (NAPA) calling for Alzheimer’s disease prevention, treatment, and care to be a priority for the United States and ordered creation of a National Plan to Address Alzheimer’s Disease which, among other goals, called for development of a cure or modifying treatment for Alzheimer’s disease by 2025.

This webinar will examine:

* NAPA’s goals and the progress made toward meeting them
* Whether Alzheimer’s disease is being appropriately prioritized in Washington
* Advancements in research and gaps in policy
* What, if any, changes need to be made in Washington to advance the path toward a cure
