Linda Waite (Chicago) gives Matilda White Riley Lecture, October 22, 2012

Linda Waite won the 2012 Matilda White Riley award from NIH's Office of Behavioral and Social Sciences Research in recognition of her contributions to knowledge on the relationships between social networks, intimacy, physical health, emotional well-being, and cognitive function at older ages. Her October lecture looked at the importance of social relationships to continued good health.
