Announcement
As part of the Gateway to Global Aging Data (g2aging.org) and in partnership with the Center to Accelerate Population Research in Alzheimer’s (capra.med.umich.edu), we are organizing a monthly virtual seminar series on long-term care, services, and policy. The seminar series aims to promote international interactions among scholars in this growing field of research. Presentations will typically be on in-progress work and discussions are strongly encouraged.
Seminars will be monthly on the 3rd Thursday, starting January 19, 2023, at 5pm Central European Time, 11am US Eastern Time, and 8am US Pacific Time.
Our first presenter will be Julien Bergeot, Department of Economics, Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, presenting “Informal Care & Mental Health: A Story of Unobserved Heterogeneity,” which is joint work with Louis Arnault.
The schedule for the seminar series will be posted and updated at g2aging.org/ltcseminar as speakers are confirmed. Presentation reminders will be circulated as part of the seminar announcements. If you would like to register to receive upcoming seminar announcements and virtual meeting room links, please sign up here.
Virtual meeting room links will be sent to members of this LTC seminar list the Tuesday before the seminar. Questions about the seminar series can be directed to [email protected].
We welcome your participation and hope this will serve as a useful forum to promote regular interactions on this important challenge facing our aging societies.
