William Dale, CoA Research Associate and Chief of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine at the University of Chicago, was named First Prize winner of the first annual Heroes of Geriatric Care story contest sponsored by the the John A. Hartford Foundation. His story is a tribute to geriatric care hero, Erica Riley, LPN, who helps an older, homeless cancer patient survive a Windy City winter against the odds.
