We invite you to submit an abstract for the 2023 Data-Intensive Research Conference, being held in Minneapolis, MN August 2-3 (with key aspects of the program available online). The 2023 conference theme is How Place Shapes Health and Wellbeing through the Life Course. Abstract submissions are due February 1, 2023.
Applications for a pre-conference workshop, held July 31-August 1, on leveraging IPUMS data for research topics related to the conference theme are also open.
The conference is sponsored by the NDIRA initiative, a collaboration between the University of Minnesota Life Course Center and IPUMS. Conference and workshop registration are free, and NDIRA is offering travel support to a limited number of participants with emphasis on supporting scholars who are early career, outside of R1 institutions, and/or self-identify as belonging to systemically excluded groups in the social sciences.
