Herd and Stanford colleagues use 60-year WLS to study predictive quality of polygenic scores

Announcement

Pamela Herd, PI of the 60-year Wisconsin Longitudinal Study, is working with colleagues at Stanford to analyze how polygenic scores obtained from WLS DNA samples are linked to differences in educational, occupational, and economic attainments. They are also examining the extent to which cognition and early-life enviornment moderate the effects of polygenic score. The study is co-funded by the Russell Sage and Ford Foundations.
