Jason Fletcher selected as Wisconsin’s new CDHA Director

UW-Madison’s Center for Demography of Health and Aging (CDHA) has selected Jason Fletcher to become its next Director, effective May 2018. Fletcher, an expert in many of CDHA’s core foci, is Romnes Professor of Public Affairs and Sociology with additional appointments in Agricultural and Applied Economics and Population Health Sciences.

Fletcher is replacing Professor Pamela Herd, who is joining Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy summer 2018. Herd served as CDHA director since 2015.

CDHA has been funded through the National Institute on Aging for nearly 20 years and works closely with the Center for Demography and Ecology (CDE) to promote demographic research and training at UW-Madison.
