"Whitfield to receive GSA's 2015 Minority Mentorship Award" - EurekAlert!. 10/02/2015

Duke University’s Keith Whitfield has won the Gerontological Society of America’s 2015 Minority Issues in Gerontology Committee Outstanding Mentorship Award. The award is given annually to a person exemplifying outstanding commitment and dedication to mentoring minority researchers in the field of aging. In 2013, Whitfield co-developed a special project of the GSA Innovation Fund that raises funds to support mentorship within the Society. He was also the architect of GSA’s speed mentoring program. He has mentored many colleagues in the fields of clinical psychology, geropsychology, and public health for more than 20 years.
