Announcement
To give researchers in aging more time to consider federal funding options, the NIA will now publish concepts approved by the National Advisory Council on Aging (NACA) *before* any related Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) is released. Although these concepts are not guaranteed to become FOAs, nor are they assigned funding mechanisms (eg, R01, R21), they are areas of special interest for NIA being “seriously considered for funding.”
