"The NIA Aging Cell Repository: Facilitating research with aging cells" - NIA blog. 05/23/2018
To further study of how cell metabolism and DNA changes are associated with aging, the National Institute on Aging has established a cell repository available to researchers. The current collection has more than 2,700 cell lines and 700 DNA samples from animals and people – including samples from individuals across all age ranges, as well as cell lines for certain age-related diseases such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s, and for diseases that cause premature aging such as progeria and Werner syndrome.
Samples can be ordered from the Coriell Institute for Medical Research in Camden, New Jersey.
