NIA urges research on geographic inequalities in US morbidity/mortality

In a blog post that summarizes recent NIA-funded studies that have “sharpened the focus” on regional differences in US morbidity and mortality, John Haaga calls for “research that will contribute to reducing these disparities among regions of our nation.” Specifically, he requests that researchers interested in submitting applications for funding in this area contact him or other program staff in NIA’s DBSR.
