Register for the Network for Data-Intensive Research on Aging (NDIRA) Conference

Announcement

Register by July 18 for the Data-Intensive Research Conference. This free research conference will focus on full count U.S. census data and is being held virtually on Tuesdays and Thursdays from July 20-August 5.

The University of Minnesota’s Life Course Center on the Demography and Economics of Aging  recently launched the Network for Data-Intensive Research on Aging (NDIRA), which seeks to build and support an emerging interdisciplinary community of scientists using novel collections of large-scale microdata and contextual data for research on population aging. The 2021 Data-Intensive Research Conference is our first major event and will showcase research and resources that facilitate studying aging and the later life course. Register to join us for research sessions that showcase how scholars are using full count U.S. census data, informational workshops on these data resources, and opportunities to connect with data experts and peers on research ideas.

Please distribute this invitation to register for the Data-Intensive Research Conference and join the NDIRA community to your networks of established and early-stage scholars of aging and life course research. Registration closes on Sunday, July 18 (though we will make links to some individual sessions available even after registration closes through the conference web page).
