"Many Americans Try Retirement, Then Change Their Minds" - New York Times. 03/30/2018

A recent study found that the percentage of employed Americans over age 65 has risen steadily over the past 15 years. Separate analyses by Nicole Maestas and Kathleen Mullen find evidence that some retirees return to work and others decide to continue their careers longer. And Mullen says that even more retired Americans might resume working if they found the right option: “We asked people over 50 who weren’t working, or looking for a job, whether they’d return if the right opportunity came along. About half said yes.”
