RFA: Pilot Projects from Center to Accelerate Population Research in Alzheimer’s (CAPRA)

Announcement

The Center to Accelerate Population Research in Alzheimer’s (CAPRA) is pleased to announce our third year of pilot award funding for early and established investigators in the field of Alzheimer’s Disease and Alzheimer’s Disease Related Dementias (AD/ADRD). The CAPRA Pilot Core is seeking novel, population-based pilot projects that aim to reduce the health and financial burden of dementia and improve government and healthcare organization policy. In addition to financial support, the Pilot Core will provide technical assistance and project guidance to investigators transitioning into AD/ADRD research.

CAPRA pilot awards of up to $40,000 will be made available to successful applicants from the University of Michigan and external institutions. To view examples of previously funded pilots, please see CAPRA’s Year 1 and Year 2 awardees on our website.
